After the launch in 1956 there was a gap of a few months until January 1957 when the Karrier Bantam was released.
Always in blue with a red base this is No.455. It is a pleasantly simple model and very strong. You might think that the completely open rear section would be flimsy but I have yet to see one that has bent or collapsed!
We could do things with this model, like fill it with stuff and hope it didn't fall out as we went along. This is a fine example that I only found a short while ago.
